Recommendations to alleviate the General Fund deficit and ensure broad inclusion of relevant scientific and policy officials

After several years of budget deficit, alongside increases in demand in activities for the Secretariat combined with a shortfall in notification fees, this paper recommends a number of options for SCAF to consider which should both underpin the return of a balanced or zero-deficit General Fund budget within the next few years, and supports wider engagement in the work of CCAMLR.
