    Abstract

Inspite of COVID–19 restrictions we were able to conduct in late 2021 international collaboration with the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, University of British Columbia (Canada) financially supported by CCAMLR General Capacity Building Fund. Our primary goal was to standardizate between our labs the proceeding of plankton samples which are annually collected from Ukrainian fishery vessels in the Southern Ocean. Under this scientific activities, 22 samples from 3 CCAMLR Statistical Subareas, 88.1, 88.2 and 48.1, collected from three Ukrainian longline fishery vessels, CALIPSO, MARIGOLDS and SIMEIZ were analyzed by Dr. Larysa Samchyshyna under the supervision of Prof. Evgeny Pakhomov. Here we present some results from the samples collected during austral summer 2020/21.
