Assessment of Patagonian Toothfish (Dissostichus eleginoides) in Subarea 48.3: Assessment Diagnostics

This paper presents the diagnostics associated with the Casal2 48.3 Patagonian toothfish assessment referred to as the “Final model” in Earl and Readdy, 2023. These diagnostics address the requests from WG-SAM-2023 paragraph 6.33 to include these plots for Casal2 assessments. In addition, approaches are developed for addressing plots indicated in WG-SAM-2023 paragraph 6.34 (i), (ii), (iii), (vi). R code for producing the plots is available on request. Age raising diagnostic plots for all years of the assessment are shown in Appendix 1.
