Implementation of Conservation Measure 10-08

Conservation Measure (CM) 10-08 requires that Contracting Parties shall take appropriate measures in order to verify and take action in response to nationals found responsible for, benefiting from, supporting or engaging in any activities described in CM 10-06 and CM 10-07 (i.e., illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing or related activities). As requested by the Commission, the Secretariat reviewed current CCAMLR data to identify instances where CM 10-08 would apply, and whether a report had been provided. The analysis identified a number of instances where a report on the implementation of CM 10‑08 may be required by respective Contracting Parties.
