Resumen
This paper summarises the Secretariat’s plan to migrate from the current e-groups platform to the new CCAMLR Discussions platform based on Discourse. The existing e-groups, built on Drupal 8 (end of life November 2021), are outdated and present significant security risks. The new platform will improve access for Members, observers and invited experts, provide stronger Account management through CCAMLR accounts, and support more flexible discussion structures.
