2027 Ross Sea region MPA review - Requirements and science needed for objective-based reporting

This document provides science priorities to support the 10-year review of the Ross Sea region Marine Protected Area, according to the Conservation Measure 91-05 and the Ross Sea region MPA Research and Monitoring Plan (RMP) (SC-CCAMLR-XXXVI-20). Table 1 in SC-CCAMLR-XXXVI-20 lists the RMP topics and their link to the Priority Elements in Annex 91-05/C Table 2, Conservation Measure 91-05. The relevance of each specific objective for each area in the MPA reflects the information contained in Annex 91-05/B Table 1. The combination of this information with the protection targets in SC-CCAMLR-XXXIII-BG-23Rev.1 Table 1 has resulted in the research approaches and indicators proposed here.
