Dissostichus spp. Catch Documentation Scheme (CDS), and monthly fine-scale catch and effort data decision rule review

Reconciliation of the Dissostichus spp. Catch Documentation Scheme (CDS), and monthly fine-scale catch and effort data utilises a relative (10%) and an absolute (200 kg) threshold for differences to identify records for further investigation. WG-FSA-2022 requested the Secretariat to review whether the thresholds are appropriate to identify where reconciliation is needed. A review of all available reconciliations found 29.98 % of records had a weight difference of 200 kg or less and 88 % of records had a percentage difference in weight of 10 % corresponded or less.
