Krill Observer Workshop, what to expect

This paper provides a brief summary of scientific observer activities for krill fishery and how it informs fishery management, especially in the context of CCAMLR’s krill work plan development and new krill fishery management approach. The workshop will review the data sampling protocols, discuss workloads, and refine sampling and reporting protocols. The Workshop will also focus on information exchange between CCAMLR krill scientists to provide a wider perspective and understanding of the krill fishery for both scientists and scientific observers.
