Fishery characterisation for Patagonian toothfish (Dissostichus eleginoides) around South Georgia (Subarea 48.3): 2023 update

This paper provides a summary of catch and effort in the Patagonian toothfish (Dissostichus eleginoides) fishery around South Georgia (Subarea 48.3), together with more detailed description of the biological characteristics of the catch of Patagonian toothfish between the 1995/96 and 2021/22 fishing seasons. The analysis and data summary provides the background to the biological parameters used in the Subarea 48.3 Patagonian toothfish assessment and complements the information provided in the CCAMLR Subarea 48.3 Fishery Reports.
