Abstract
This paper provides a brief review of Conservation Measure (CM) 23-05 following the discussions held during CCAMLR-41 to consider its relevance. This review proposes the removal of CM 23-05, as the data reporting requirements within the measure have been superseded by biological data. Data is therefore collected at both a finer spatial and temporal scale under the SISO requirements, which are contained in various conservation measures currently in force.
