Résumé
In compliance with CM 31-02 (General Measure for the closure of all fisheries) paragraph 6, this paper reports on the investigation carried out by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office into the actions of the UK-flagged fishing vessel Argos Georgia which was unable to remove all its fishing gear from the water prior to the notified closure of SSRU C, sub-area 88.1 on 13 December 2011 at 2400 hours UTC, due to adverse weather and sea-ice conditions. The investigation deemed the actions of the Argos Georgia to be both responsible and fully compliant with CCAMLR requirements.
