    Résumé

Colonies of penguins (genus Pygoscelis) have been systematically studied on Galindez, Petermann, and Yalour islands since 2015. Additional information about colonies on nearby islands (Green, Pleneau, Moot) was gathered during 2024/25 season UAV surveys. The detailed observation of bird arrival, nesting, hatch, and crèche has been provided by ground surveys in two colonies at the GAI CEMP site at Galindez Island near the Akademik Vernadsky Ukrainian Antarctic station. Here, we discuss the visual survey results from these colonies obtained during the 2024/25 season. The data validation experiment results, provided for photo captures from time-lapse cameras of the CEMP monitoring project of CCAMLR (SC-CAMLR-41/BG/12), obtained during the 2022/23, 2023/24, and 2024/25 seasons, are compared with earlier validation data and discussed. Data on Yalour and Petermann colonies is provided by time-lapse cameras and discussed here, considering the result of the validation experiment.
