Résumé
Attached is a study that estimated the proportion of Patagonian toothfish caught within the New Zealand EEZ that would survive if they were released alive. These survival estimates were based on the available New Zealand and overseas studies, on information from experts, such as fishers, fishery observers, and research scientists, and included use of CCAMLR data.
This study was presented to WG-FSA-2023 under ‘other business’ and many participants contributed to the study.
