Résumé
For developing efficient Marine Mammal Exclusion Device, this paper introduced an optimized escape opening used in Seal Exclusion Device, which may enhance the robust of the opening shape and improves visibility by strengthening the edges, and provide more opportunity for fur seals to escape through a larger square of the escape opening. This type of escape opening could be considered for use in future design of the Seal Exclusion Device.
