Antarctic Climate Change and the Environment: 2025 Update

This paper provides information on recent climate change-related research and observations in the Antarctic, building on the SCAR Antarctic Climate Change and the Environment (ACCE) Reports. The paper is not a general synthesis. Rather, it highlights recent findings. Notable among these is the synthesis work on growing evidence for abrupt changes, some of them recent, in the physical and living environments, both marine and terrestrial, in the region.
