Резюме

Data limited analysis is applied to tagging returns to determine estimates of exploitation rates (fishing mortality) on the Patagonian toothfish (Dissostichus eleginoides) stock in Subarea 48.3. The results show that the tagging data collected from the fishery can be analysed in a way that is consistent with the simple assumptions of catch curve analysis, to provide data limited estimates that are consistent in their scale with the full CASAL assessment model outputs.
