Recent highlights and future plans of the Integrating Climate and Ecosystem Dynamics in the Southern Ocean (ICED) Programme

Integrating Climate and Ecosystem Dynamics in the Southern Ocean (ICED) is an international, multidisciplinary programme examining the response of Southern Ocean ecosystems to natural and anthropogenic change and feedbacks to the Earth System. This paper summarises recent and planned research and activities of ICED that are of relevance to the work of the CCAMLR Scientific Committee. Collectively these efforts are at the forefront of Southern Ocean research, as well as connecting this research with decision-makers and policy.
