Abstract

This paper provides an update on recent activities of the SCAR Antarctic Biodiversity Portal. A workshop on Essential Variables (EVs) was held in conjunction with the 2023 SOOS Symposium and will contribute to the ADVANCE project on Antarctic biodiversity data infrastructure. In addition, we provide updates on the new biodiversity.aq portal, which is now hosted by GBIF, and new datasets, including those published in the Topical Collection of Pensoft.
