Abstract

This Observer’s report provides an overview of the recent Southern Ocean-focussed activities of the International Whaling Commission’s Scientific Committee (IWC-SC), as covered during its 2023 meeting (particularly topics likely to be of interest to the CCAMLR community). The Observer’s report also provides extracts of meeting report text which reflect on the ongoing collaboration between IWC and CCAMLR.
