Updates to the CCAMLR Acoustic Data Repository

This paper presents recent developments on the CCAMLR Acoustic Data Repository. We provide an overview of acoustic data and metadata submitted since WG-ASAM-2023 and present the data visualisation tool requested by WG-ASAM-2023. We also describe progress in testing the python package Krillscan and discuss options for future data submissions, including the results of tests of a cloud-based platform to exchange raw acoustic data between the Secretariat and Members. Finally, we provide an overview of updates required to the CCAMLR Acoustic Data Repository if the proposed enhanced sampling requirements of the revised krill fishery management approach are adopted.
