Progress on defining high-level strategic objectives for ecosystem modelling

This document reports on progress towards defining high-level strategic objectives for ecosystem modelling to deliver one of the terms of reference of the IWC intersessional correspondence group on the provision of advice on cetacean science to CCAMLR’s revised krill management approach and CEMP, and ecosystem modelling, which were adopted by SC-CAMLR-43. The authors have developed an outline paper on using Southern Ocean ecosystem models to inform conservation and intend to work with relevant experts from CCAMLR and the IWC to complete the paper. They request feedback from WG-EMM on their proposals.
