Reconciliation of CDS data with monthly fine-scale catch and effort data

As requested by WG-FSA-2022, a biennial reconciliation was undertaken for all available data between the Dissostichus spp. Catch Documentation Scheme (CDS) and monthly fine-scale catch and effort data. The analysis identified that 7.6% of the reconciliations meet the criteria for further evaluation, however, at a season level, the reconciliations had a difference of less than 2%.
