    Abstract

    The Ross Sea region Marine Protected Area has existed for over six years (CM 91-05, 2016). However, the Research and Monitoring Plan remains to be adopted, and there needs to be more clarity on several aspects of the scientific rationale for this MPA. The Russian Federation offers comments on the draft RSr MPA Research and Monitoring Plan based on its position voiced at previous CCAMLR meetings.
