    Abstract

In face of the fast climate changes occurring in the Antarctic Peninsula, inclusion of climate change scenarios within the process of designation of Marine Protected Areas and krill fishing management is important. We conducted an exploratory analysis to evaluate changes of sea surface temperature and sea ice within the proposed Domain 1 Marine Protected Area in projected scenarios of future climate change. In face of the fast climate changes occurring in the Antarctic Peninsula, inclusion of climate change scenarios within the process of designation of Marine Protected Areas and krill fishing management is important.
